About the Society

The Manchester University Law Society (MULS) is the largest society at The University of Manchester and one of the largest law societies in the UK. With over 1,200 members, both who are law and non-law students, MULS is a society that is focused on the career prospects and social life of its members.

Manchester is often dubbed as "the legal capital of the North". With more and more firms "north-shoring" their operations, the career opportunities in Manchester in the legal sector have never been so large. It is unsurprising therefore why our twenty-seven sponsors choose MULS. Manchester has a world-class university, a skilled population and houses the third largest airport in the UK. This, coupled with the unique rapport that MULS amongst students is why firms choose us and why firms want to engage with you.
