THE MULS BEELINE MENTORING SCHEME

Applications for the 2024/25 academic year have now closed.

The MULS Bursary Scheme is back in the form of the Beeline Mentoring Scheme.

Beeline is a mentoring scheme, continuing on from the Bursary Scheme last year. All successful candidates will receive one-to-one mentoring from a trainee or lawyer at one of our sponsor firms! The scheme is an invaluable mentorship opportunity to kickstart and progress your legal career. There is also an opportunity to receive a free ticket to the Law Ball!

There will also be onboarding workshops provided by MULS to assist and guide you throughout the scheme! Our aim is to reduce the barriers students face when pursuing a career in commercial law.

Eligibility:

We welcome all students, from all year groups who come from any underrepresented background to the mentoring scheme. Examples can include:

  • Low income (e.g. receiving the Manchester Bursary)

  • Gender

  • Race

  • Low socioeconomic status

  • First generation to attend university

  • State school educated

  • Sexual orientation

Students only need to satisfy one of these.

Those who come from a low income background, low socioeconomic background, or grew up in an area with low progression to higher education, will be eligible to receive a free ticket to the Law Ball.

The form takes about 30 minutes to complete.

Together, we will shape a legal profession that truly reflects the richness of talent from all backgrounds. Any questions regarding this scheme please contact muls.sponsorships@gmail.com
